Today we begin again the journey through Siva’s essential guide to meditation; ‘Vigyan Bhairav Tantra’, using Lakshman Joo’s classic translation, created in Kashmir approximately seventy years ago.
It said of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, first composed by Siva five thousand years ago, that it contains a suitable meditation for every person, and that everyone can find in it a meditation which will help them to achieve the state of ‘No-Mind’.
As a disciple of Osho it is my dharma to help people who wish to learn meditation, for whatever reason, by providing them with these tools.
My brief commentaries are intended only to emphasize the practical nature of these meditations and to gently remind the reader that these are meditations to be practiced and not purely poetical writings or philosophical ideas.
It is suggested that the seeker practice each of these meditations until they find one which resonates with them and then continue to practice that one daily.
This discipline can be the most rewarding spiritual exercise, if pursued with diligence and application. The meditations are free, easy to do, and carry no ideological content.
Enjoy at your leisure and good luck on your journey!
